Even with this and many other Scriptures, the Church is still divided by tribalism and racism. Sometimes, I wonder how we truly study and understand the Word. Some attitudes make you question whether God Himself is divided.
When a Christian is in power, if he is not from our tribe, we criticize him from the beginning to the end of his tenure. But if the person is from our tribe—even if he is a pagan or an idol worshipper—we remain silent, no matter the damage done.
Until we value truth above tribe and Christ above culture, unity in the Church will remain a message we preach—but fail to live....for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
