THE PHARISEES:

Topic: THE PHARISEES

Word: Matthew 23:2 NLT
“The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses.

Here’s My Take:

Jesus Encounter With The Pharisees:

The Bible said after the ordeal of the Blind man and the Pharisees, they threw him out. When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”  The man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.”  “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!” “Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus. Then Jesus told him,

Then Jesus told him “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.” Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, “Are you saying we’re blind?” loss“If you were blind, you wouldn’t be guilty,” Jesus replied. “But you remain guilty because you claim you can see. John 9:35-41 NLT

This is hilarious. The Pharisees do not literally understand all the parables that Jesus spoke. But they knew that Jesus will always make a reference about them using parables. And just as they were expecting, Jesus gave them one.

Conclusion:
There's a way someone will monitor you for a very long time, s/he can give details of almost everything about you. That was why the Pharisees kept attacking him, because they knew what he was capable of.

Song:
I speak the name of Jesus over you
In your hurting, in your sorrow
I will ask my God to move
I speak the name 'cause it's all that I can do
In desperation, I'll seek Heaven
And pray this for you

Prayer:
Lord may we not be hypocritical. In Jesus name. Amen.
