Topic: Don't Pity Jonah!

Word: Jonah 1:15 NLT
Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once!

Here's My Take:

What Jonah stands for…

6. Silent Saboteur:
How to know the Silent Saboteur…

a. They drain your peace without saying a word. Even when they are quiet, something around you feels heavy. Sometimes a Silent Saboteur may think everything he is doing is normal, not knowing his actions are affecting others. That’s another challenge he may never consider.

Jonah entered the ship to do his own thing, just like everyone else came for their personal business. But he didn’t know his decision would cost others their happiness and peace. Silently, he went to sleep. Peacefully, he refused to let the storm bother him—until he was summoned.

This is why, as a child of God, you must never take anything for granted. When you’re traveling, pray. Pray before you board a vehicle, and pray while you’re in the vehicle. Don’t stop praying until you arrive at your destination. Avoid unnecessary conversations on the way, because not everyone in the vehicle is actually traveling…

Congratulations:
Do you know that if they hadn’t brought Jonah out, the storm would have destroyed them—but Jonah would have survived?

Song:
Jesus is here right now
Jesus is here right now
He is here to meet your needs
To set the captives free
Oh, oh, oh Jesus is here right now

Prayer:
Lord, let every silent saboteur be exposed and cut off from amongst us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
