Topic: Don't Pity Jonah!
Word: Jonah 1:15 NLT
Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once!
Here's My Take:
What Jonah stands for…
6. Silent Saboteur:
Silent Saboteurs are everywhere. They are hard to see. Even when they seem to be hidden, a little thing will bring their leg out. I won't forget the 2023 Nigerian General Election. In fact, no reasonable Nigerian will forget that election. It was indeed an eye opener. That was when I understood clearly who a silent saboteur is. And how he operates.
I remember during the campaign period, all well meaning Nigerians were rallying around one particular Good candidate with proven records, as the President of Nigeria. One Governor then joined everyone to sing his praises.
In fact the Governor became the highest supporter of the said Presidential candidate. Everyone was happy, seeing how he was campaigning for him. Until the obvious happened. We didn't know that all those rituals were just pretence. He acted like he was part of the masses. We didn't know that he had silently sabotaged the whole move. At the end, he worked against the people's choice. And join in bringing disaster to the people.
Conclusion:
Any nation/state where their elites are full of silent saboteurs can never get good governance. Because those elites will be more concerned about their stomach.
Song:
Let's sing it loud y'all
You are Jireh, You are enough
Jireh, You are enough
And I will be content
In every circumstance
Jireh, You are enough
Prayer:
Lord, let every silent saboteur around me and my family, be disappointed In Jesus’ name. Amen.
