Topic: Don't Pity Jonah!

Word: Jonah 1:15 NLT
Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once!

Here's My Take:

What Jonah stands for…

6. Silent Saboteur:
Finally on Silent Saboteurs. There is a whole lot to say about these folks. But we'll keep it cool. Just remember Silent Saboteurs are everywhere. They aren't hard to see. Even when they seem to be hidden, a little thing will bring their legs out. They lack honesty, and their presence destroys peaceful coexistence.

They're carriers of disaster, even though they may appear calm and quiet. They kill Joy, progress, prosperity, happiness, etc. Having them in your midst is like wearing a bomb in your Jacket, that can explode without notice.

Beware of people who drain you silently. Not all storms are spiritual attacks—sometimes it is the quiet Jonah sitting comfortably in your life. And he will keep sitting there unless you do something about it. Throw him out now!

Conclusion:
Pray for God to expose every silent saboteur.
Pray for the courage to throw them out.
Pray for wisdom to recognize the storms they bring and also overcome them.

Song:
When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your blessings, see what God hath done;
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Prayer:
Lord, let every silent saboteur around me and my family, be disappointed In Jesus’ name. Amen.
