5. Destiny: When our priority in life is to touch lives, however and whichever way we can, then we are fulfilling destiny. But when everything we do is for our gain, then we are on a mission. So what if what you're doing right now isn't your destiny; and it doesn't matter the years you've been there?
I heard a story of a Pastor that owns a great Church, with thousands of members. One day he came to Church with his wife and announced that God told him to hand over his Church to one of his Pastors, then sit as one of the members.
He said God told him to do that, that some day He'll call him up again. He didn't argue with God, he did as he was told. The Church was shocked. Because that was the Church he started from the scratch with his wife. Only for him to relinquish it in one day. But God knows why.
Conclusion:
WHAT IF he wasn't doing exactly what was required of him? WHAT IF God was testing his obedience. There things God may want to teach his servant. But He knew that the spirit of "position" won't allow him. So to help his servant, he has to bring someone he respects to be able to pass the information to him.
