But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
When some people want to tell you that you're eating too much, they'll quote this Scripture for you. And when someone wants to defend himself for consuming a full plate of food. They'll say man shall live by bread and also by God's word.
The Truth is we need both the Physical and Spiritual(word of God) Food for our total "being" development. If one is fed and the other is left out, it will suffer malnutrition. So all the food are needed at their appropriate measure.
