Topic: WHAT IF?

Word: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Proverbs 19:21 KJV

There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

Here's My Take:

WHAT IF as it's seen in...

4. Tomorrow: Anything you know that will bring you shame and disgrace tomorrow, avoid it today! Today is the best time to avoid/stop that addiction, tomorrow maybe too late. Growing up as a kid, my father never relented pointing tomorrow to us. Any time we do things that pain him much, he'll remind us of how it will reverse back to us tomorrow.

Though he made it sound more like a curse rather than a caution or warning. But thank God that he later prayed and blessed us, so that none of our mistakes will come back to us via our children; after we changed our ways.

But his constant reminder and remarks of tomorrow helped me. It shaped my life. It made me see my wrongs than I see myself in a mirror. It pushed me to the point of taking drastic decisions for my life. Because I want to succeed, progress and become the best, therefore I don't want anything to stain my tomorrow.

Conclusion:

In those days, the practical way of making a stubborn child to become humble is to constantly remind him/her of tomorrow.

Song:

Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free

Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me

You have broken every chain

There's salvation in Your name

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free

Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me

You have broken every chain

There's salvation in Your name

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Prayer:

Oh Lord, may I not live today a life that I will regret tomorrow. Amen.
