6. Babylon: We were told that God can use a man or a people or a nation as an instrument of Peace or destruction/punishment to a person, His people, nation etc. When his people/sons/nation refuse to obey His commands, and also refused to repent. Same way He can use same Process to give His people peace.
Babylon and King Nebuchadnezzar was a typical example of whom God used to punish His people for Disobedient. After so much warning and cautioning from Him, they refused listen. And He sent them instruments of destruction.
Stubbornness is a very deadly lifestyle that has dealt with people, and still dealing with them. Sometimes I wonder how people can be so stubborn, even until death! This was the case of the Children of Israel. They were stubborn even till their exile.
Conclusion:
A family can be punished for the sake of one man's disobedience/stubbornness, that's the same way a nation could be punished/disciplined for the sake the sins of their leaders(few people)
