All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.
Here's My Take:
CATALYST(As A Child of God): I found out that Believers of those days placed more value on fellow Believers than the placed it on themselves. It doesn't mean that there wasn't any Echan or Judas in those days. There was, but very rare compared to what we're seeing now.
The rate people focus on themselves physically, with less care for brethren is alarming. The world is more demanding on them than the Brethren: the world is more demanding on them than the WORD. The funniest thing is that majority of us doesn't know the houses of our fellow Believers, except those we consider useful to us. Even the ones living in same street with us.
The Bible said "All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had." The "shared everything" isn't limited to money; ideas, prayers, knowledge, revelations, etc are part of that. They didn't make the fellowship to be millionaires vs Billionaires, poor people vs wretched people. Everybody was somebody in one body.

Conclusion:
I'll say it again, the Church which the early Apostles laboured, laid down their lives and found didn't change, still the same till today, but it's the people that changed. Their mindsets changed.
