Claiming this foreign god’s help, he will attack the strongest fortresses. He will honor those who submit to him, appointing them to positions of authority and dividing the land among them as their reward.
This verse of the Scripture is exactly what we see around us, especially my country Naija(Nigeria). Every Elected(selected) Government fight anyone that seems to stand on their way(strongest fortresses). When giving appointments, they won't look for capable hands, rather they'll appoint anyone that submit(friends, family, etc) to them. And that appointment becomes the person's oil well; s/he can do with it as s/he likes.
But I believe that Great things are coming...
