The Major Areas Moses Was Tempted:
i). Leading The Crowd: As we all know that Moses was the meekest man in his time, irrespective of that, he had hot temper. Though that is a serious weakness in leadership. Leaders are not meant to be quick tempered, if not, their leadership will be affected.
Though that was Moses weakness, yet God wasn't actually angry over that. But He was very angry over his decision and reactions when he was provoked; over his lack of self control. Lack of Self-control is one of the reasons why majority will miss Heaven. God help us!
God knows that man have weaknesses, that's why He gave him authority over them. But for man to allow those weaknesses to control him is what God doesn't want from him. So seeing Moses, the meekest man being controlled by his weakness got God angry.
Conclusion:
Self-control is one of fruits of the spirit; lack of it means lack of interest in the things of the spirit. And lack of interest in the things of the spirit means lack of interest in God.
And lack of self-control is sin.
