1. Abraham:
The Four Major Areas Abraham Was Tempted.
ii). Land Sharing: another temptation that came to our Father Abraham was the temptation of land sharing with his nephew, Lot. What happened there was a temptation which would have resulted to so many misfortune in the life of Abraham, his calling and the promises of God upon his life.
Because by right, he had no reason to share anything with his nephew; everything were his. Secondary, he should have made a choice before his nephew, as the eldest. And he would have made choice by sight, then select the lush area. Yet he told his nephew to go ahead and and take first.
Thirdly, if he had made the choice of the lush area, the reverse would have been the case. Maybe Lot would have come to his rescue him like he did to him. And Abraham would have lost everything like his brother Lot did. In all these, he never allowed any of these to change his focus
Conclusion:
The Bible said a canal man doesn't understand the things of the Spirit, meaning that a spiritual man understands better. That's why Abraham took that decision.
