Here's My Take:
WHEN THERE'S NATURAL AFFECTION, there'll be no
2. Selfishness: where there's natural affection, there will be no selfishness. Selfish people doesn't care about anyone else but themselves. Whatever they do or get involved with must be something that will favour them. If not you won't see them.
They don't show Affection unless they'll benefit from it. Whenever you see them showing so much care or paying attention to a particular thing, just know that they're gaining. If not they'll give an excuse and avoid it.
Having Natural Affection makes one selfless; general interest before personal. It makes one considerate. Someone will say so should I displease myself and please others right?! That's the mentality of selfish people; when we work for the benefit of everyone, our interests are included.
Conclusion:
Everyone has a need, but when I place my need ahead of others, it then shows that I lack Natural Affection. Same with you.
