Affection is purely practical, and it's something that must come from the heart. Practically because it's an attitude of someone towards someone else. Though it will be difficult to determine whether such Affection comes from the heart or just a pretence.
Pure/True Affections can only be determined by the givers, not the receivers. They will tell if they're from their hearts, or just deceptions. Because not all Affections are real, some are just means of getting what they want.
Conclusion:
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
