He would cure him of his leprosy.” Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash and be cleansed’!”

Lessons to learn from Naaman's story

7. Counsel can come from anyone: 

The last but not the least of the lessons to learn from the story of Naaman is to know that "Counsel can come from anyone". If not the counsel of the Little slave girl that serves Naaman's wife, and that of his servants, Naaman would not have gotten his cleansing.

Today many that claimed to be VIP in their homes, work place, Church, etc find it so difficult to get such help from anybody. They see it as unprofessional; example for a medical Doctor to get counsel from his patient, a professor to do same from ordinary vulcanizer on the road side, etc.

They'll debunk a counsel from a low person and die in shame, because of what people will say. But Naaman dropped his status knowing fully well that they're counselling him to help him, not to make fun of him.

Conclusion:

Shame of "a whole me!" "Who I am!" "What will people say?!" etc, has made many candidates of failure and/or untimely death.
