Our(My, Your) Now:

Eguh Nnamdi's Nugget

Topic: My Now, Your Now, Our Now:

Word: Isaiah 62:6‭-‬7 NIV

You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

Here's My Take:

My Now, Your Now, Our Now, is that moment everyone has been waiting for. Irrespective of who you're or what you do or where you come from, we all need it. Without it life will make us total strangers; while others are celebrating, we'll be left out.

Everyone long for it, including little children. That's why, when they're playing and one child is denied access to something(food, game, etc), the child will protest, saying " when it's my turn(now) I'll do you back!" The child believed that his turn will come, though it may not be that moment, but it will surely come.

Children do exercise faith you know?! And their faith comes as pressure. As long as they believe that their parents are capable, they'll insist until it's been given to them. This is the way we have to insist, crying to God in prayers day and night, until our Now comes.

Conclusion:

This topic is meant to boost our Faith and prayer life. Just like children that insist that their father will buy something for them, so shall we insist on prayers till our Now comes.

Song:

[Verse 1]

I see the King of glory

Coming on the clouds with fire

The whole earth shakes

The whole earth shakes, yeah

[Verse 2]

I see His love and mercy

Washing over all our sin

The people sing

The people sing

Hosanna, hosanna

Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, hosanna

Hosanna in the highest

Prayer:

May we not quit until we see the travail of our faith. Amen.
