One of the reasons why many backslide is the thought that they'll know everything about God immediately. So when they couldn't, they get tired.
As a person, how many years did you spend before you were able to move from creche to University. If it could take you these years just to have knowledge of human ideology, how do you think it will take you to know everything about God?
The God I know and serve is Amasi Amasi(Too mysterious); no one can know everything about Him. The more you know Him, the more you'll find out that you have not known Him, and the more you seek to know Him.
