If you want to pray and get answers from God.
Don't come to him, when you have concluded
...when you already have the answers, he'll abandon you
Don't come to him, to fulfill all righteousness(because you were told to do so)
...a broken Spirit and a contrite heart God doesn't despise
Don't come to him with a mind filled with contempt
...let your heart be free, then you'll receive
Don't come to him biased
...be patient before him, he is timeless
Don't come to him with unforgiveness
... remember the parable of the unforgiven servant(Matt 18:21-)
Don't come to him hiding your sins
.... that's arrogance. Be intentional
Don't come to him without remorse
....be broken before him
Don't come to him with a closed mind
....be open-minded
Don't come to him with your righteousness
...our righteousness is a filthy garment. You're coming to become righteous
