Topic: The Old Prophet(Who is "The Old Prophet"?) 6

Word: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Here's My Take:

Who is "The Old Prophet"?

3. This is a person that failed to commend your goodness, but never stopped talking about your flaws:

There are great men( businessmen, men of God, etc) who may be like this of type of Old Prophet in our context. Especially when they noticed that they young(guy, minister, etc) under them is doing gorgeously well.

Just you know, there are young men who are running with the speed of Elijah's chariot; they never wanna slow down not to mention quitting. And with that speed they want to cover grounds physically and/or spiritually.

Leaving such young guys like that means that they(The Old Prophets) will go down forever. So to avoid that, they'll capitalize on their flaws.

Why?

To show that they're still the boss. There's this thing I'll like us to know... "Being the boss doesn't make you the best; the best is yet to come."

"Being  the boss doesn't mean that no other potential exist; because the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God"

Being a boss doesn't make you a box; because destiny can be delayed, not denied.

Have you noticed that many young vibrant men finds it hard to be under a boss(not a leader) for so long? To avoid being kicked unexpectedly.

This can also be witnessed, when a young fellow is very out spoken; when he say things the way they are. When he doesn't compromise, irrespective of who is the victim.

If you're in this shoe, get ready to get your butt kicked by The Old Prophets because they won't like you for any reason.

Conclusion:

A tree can not make a forest but trees.

What you sow is what you reap; if you talk good about people, people will do same to you. Same, when you talk ill about people.

Song:

It pays to serve Jesus

I speak from my heart

He'll always be with us, if we do our parts

There's nothing in this can pleasure afford

There's peace and contentment

In serving the Lord

Prayer:

Father help me to overcome and not to be overcomed. Amen.

Are you ready for Christ coming???
