The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses.

MODERN DAY PHARISEES:
4. Control & Power: Modern-Day Pharisees do not smile when power enters into their hands. This is one of the reasons why so many Churches doesn't have Church boards. So that someone won't labour for years only for the board to take a drastic decision and chase him out from enjoying the fruit of his labour.
I heard from one of the preachings of Papa Benson Idahosa, where he told a story of an foreign Pastor that laboured for more than thirty years raising his Church from scratch. Only for the board he instituted to wake up one morning and sacked him as the Pastor. According to Papa Benson, he said that can never happen around him.
That he can't suffer to raise a Church to be sacked by the same Church. No way. He said that's why there's nothing like Church board in his Church.
Church board may not be a problem, but when Pharisees becomes members of the board, then there will be a problem.
Conclusion:
Don't blame Churches where the founder frontend their family members to take key positions of the Church. E get why...
