The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses.

3. Focus on Appearance: If I could speak up, I would say to the Church don't succumb to changing your policy, but don't let your policy become a stumbling block. Newcomers may not know what your policy is, but with time, teaching and guidance, they will preach the same policy. The Kingdom of God is beyond your policy. No policy is bigger than a soul.
If there's no soul, there won't be any church. And there won't be anybody to make any policy for. The Apostles and Disciples of Christ never preached policies(I stand to be corrected) other than Christ(his life, crucifixion, death and resurrection) and the Kingdom of God.
But these policies came when the Church was invaded by human ideologies. Then came the breaking aways and the creation of sovereignty. Even when these policies hurt the soul, they can't be challenged. And right now, no Church is under control. They can do anything they want, as long as they have a voice.
Conclusion:
The body of Christ has been swallowed by policies, given the devil room to operate openly without fear. This is why different kinds of evil have been infused into the Church and nobody will do anything about it. Chukwu mee ebere!
