Word: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Acts 12:22-23 NIV

They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man.” Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.

Here's My Take:

Example Of Recommendation That Birth Condemnation:

Biblical Characters:

2. King Nebuchadnezzar: The Bible said "At the end of twelve months he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, and the king answered and said, “Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?”

While the words were still in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, and he was transferred from the Kingdom of men to the animal Kingdom. It was not difficult, God potted him immediately to another Kingdom; where his pride will be on check.

God has a way of humbling people. He may keep you quiet for a while, but when He decides to humble you, He'll do it in a way that it will be very obvious and loud. Nations will hear it and quake. Kingdoms will see it and tremble.

Conclusion:

The Bible said "He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws" may pride not turn us into something we never wished for.

Song:

Nations are waiting

(Waiting)

The people are hungry o

The master is in need of vessels

So I pledge my allegiance

To the one who has called me o

I will make Jesus proud

We'll be many o

Prayer:

Lord may we not become a shadow of ourselves because of pride in Jesus name. Amen.
