Studying how Jacob and his Mother Rebecca tricked their Father to cause him to Bless Jacob instead of Esau, you'll weep for Esau. I nearly shade tears, reading how he cried and begged his father for just one Blessing. Not two but just One Blessing! Genesis 27

But there are lessons I drew from that event I'll like parents to take cognizance of. If Isaac had done these, Esau would have been blessed as well as Jacob.

1. Never place value(more value) on any child above another.

2. Love them equally, avoid favoritism.

3. Share your property for them early while you're strong and healthy, you never can tell when you'll die. And don't let third-party(lawyer, friends, etc) do that for you.

4. When you want to Bless your children or share your property, ensure that all of them are present. That's why Esau lost his.

5. Don't put all your eggs in one basket; every child God gave you is as important as the one you Cherished. The one you despised might be your(family) savior tomorrow. Bless all equally.

Lastly..

*6. Remember also that no gender is the most superior; they all came from God and for a purpose.
