Here's My Take:
There's this Igbo feeble/adage about a said bird that the mother died. He told other animals, that when it's(his) mum will be buried, he'll use his beak to cut down all the trees. But unfortunately for him, before the mother's burial, boils have taken over it's mouth, by then he could not do anything, but sit down and watch his mother been buried.
The feeble above is what usually happens to people that brag about things they don't have control over. Imagine the bird telling others what he'll do tomorrow, when he had no clue of what lies ahead of him. Never brag about what(level, chapter, period, season, etc) you've not witnessed that is still ahead.
For example, if you've not married, don't brag about marriage, you don't know what's inside. If you've not given birth to a child, never brag about how you'll raise your kids better, you don't know how difficult it is. Etc.

Conclusion:
Because of space we'll keep our story pending till further notice. But before we go take this: "there's a very big distance(in knowledge, understanding, etc), between a man that has experienced a thing, and the one yet to do so"
