What you delight in, is what controls you!
I'd found out that whenever I start loosing passion in God's word, my life(spiritual) start having issues.
My concentration and usage(speaking, teaching) of that Word always bring me very much closer to God and His desires towards my life.
The more I yield, the more I learn, the more I represent that Word, the more my life becomes better and spiritual.
