5. When they're sick unto death:

Finally on this subject..
It is the wish of everyone that is sick to get better and live many years. It's also the wish of almost everyone to live and not die. But these are wishes that will never happen. Yes they'll never happen! But one thing you and I should do is to act like Joseph, when we encounter such situation. 
And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. Genesis 48:1 KJV

Joseph never wished father death, but he was wise enough to act fast. When he was told about his father's health situation, he knew that it's a goodbye.
Even his brothers didn't get the sign, but he caught it immediately. That's why it was only the sons of Joseph that was Blessed. Not because he's the most loved, but because he utilized the opportunity.

Who knows, if not that Jacob called his sons to bless them, many of them might have felt reluctant about it. Some may not even remember.
Many have left their sick ones and travelled outside their location, by the time they'd come back, they hear another news. And they'll be like had I known!

Conclusion:
Let's be wise!
Let's be vigilant!
Let's take a step
