2. This is person that doesn't want anybody to be better than him/her:

I know of a woman whose husband died during the war, she tried to see if she could continue the marriage with her late husband's brother but it was denied her. Because of that, she vowed that other women in that family will become widows as she was. She believed that them being wives will make them better than her.

Though her desire came to pass, except one who she tried everything to make her a widow(through several accidents, etc) but God didn't permit it until she died.

Brethren, there are many out there who has vowed that since they couldn't succeed you'll never succeed; if their children couldn't marry, no one in your family will ever marry, if they couldn't graduate, no one in that vicinity will graduate, etc.

Why?

Because they know that if you do all that before them, you'll be better of. And they don't want that.

From those in Nigeria, this type of 'The Old Prophet' is not new to them. Most extended families have one or more Old Prophet/s. And if they're not in the family, they'll be in the working place or business places. To some, Prayer against this this type of Old Prophet have been their daily prayers because they have been dealt with squarely

Old Prophets are not God, therefore don't let them determine your destiny for you. Don't let them Stop you because overthinking is aloud.
