For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
Here's My Take:
WHAT IF what is happening to you right now is as a result of the influence of a spirit spouse? WHAT IF you're not aware that such spirits exist? WHAT IF you're aware but choose to act ignorant towards it? The people that perish are the people that lack knowledge.
The Bible said something that is very on point. It said "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.. You see eh, if one is living his/her life without having knowledge of why what is happening to him/her is happening.
S/he will only suffer(destroyed). But in the case that such an ignorance is taken care of(exposed), then one chooses to reject it. I wonder what kind of result the person is expecting? This is why generations, nations, etc, suffer. Because of one man's approach to knowledge.
Conclusion:
We were told that Knowledge(knowing) is Power. It also means that not having knowledge is not having Power. Then rejecting knowledge means rejecting Power; Power to win, conquer, survive and escape all forms of evil.
