Topic: WHAT IF?
Word: Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Here's My Take:
Intro:
WHAT IF" will make you aware of the worst before it will happen.
When I went to the hospital with my dad, he was strong. But as the days were going, he began to go down. I prayed as much as I could but it was as if I wasn't doing anything.
But the question I refused to answer at that moment was WHAT IF something goes wrong? WHAT IF he doesn't get well? WHAT IF this is death? So many WHAT IFs flooded my mind. But they were real.
When such a moment comes, so many people will start questioning God. They kept asking God why as if they don't know that such is life. The truth is that knowing that such is life and preparing for such a life are two different things. One who's prepared will be stronger than the one who just knows, when that moment comes.
Conclusion:
"WHAT IF" will give you strength in the midst of that challenge. It will prepare you, so that you won't be stranded when bad things happen. "WHAT IF" makes us appear strong before people.
Song:
I love You, Lord
For Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I've been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
Until I lay my head
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
'Cause all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
Prayer:
Lord may we trust you more in the midst of the storm, and help us Lord in Jesus name. Amen.
