Here's My Take:
WHAT IF is like a coin that has two sides. It could be used for two things. It could be used to expect a negative result, and also can be used to expect a positive outcome. The two will cause us to strive to become better or work hard to turn that ugly situation around.
They boost our Faith and cause us to trust God to lead us through the process. For instance, when things are not moving right around you; when you can't understand how things are going in your life; when the devil has hijacked almost every good thing that are coming your way.
And all could hear is the devil whispering to you, WHAT IF this situation remains permanent. Then you'll reply him WHAT IF it doesn't happen, AND IT WON'T HAPPEN! devil WHAT IF you're the loser, and YOU HAVE LOST ALREADY.
Conclusion:
Whenever the devil throws a question that concerns your health, Faith, wealth, family, etc at you. Return the Question back to him, and then with Destructive Answer. Because you have the right to defend yourself from him Let Us Pray
