For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
Here's My Take:
Intro:
WHAT IF is an unexpected change in one's desires, ambition, plans, goals and aspirations, etc. There's no one that never desires good things. I found out that there's nobody in life that has never desired good things, even mad people do. But not every good thing one deserves, that s/he will get.
Imagine having so many plans and also putting in so much effort to actualize that. Or investing so much money on a particular trade only to lose everything..what will you do? Restrategize or remain frustrated?
Before a Business minded person starts investing money into any business, he'll first count the cost. And part of his cost is WHAT IF. WHAT IF this business didn't go as I'd expected? WHAT IF something happened and I have to start afresh? WHAT IF there's a change in policy or trend or anything and this business is affected? He won't start a business without WHAT IF in place.
Conclusion:
When you travel around some cities in my country, Nigeria, you'll see several companies that are not functioning. If you enquire, you'll find out that they never included WHAT IF in their plans earlier, so it became difficult for them to diversify.
