Here's My Take:
Some days ago I was discussing with a colleague, he was sharing with me his exploits while he was very young. How he was enjoying himself, women all over him. According to him, he had money then, because his parents were rich. So he was spending his money on any thing that comes his way.
While he was sharing that with me, he paused a bit and said I wasted money. He wasn't feeling bad about his previous lifestyle, rather he was feeling bad because there's no money again. I simply told him yet you haven't stopped, upon your age?! He was crying for money not his ugly lifestyle.
Do you know that while he was lavishing his Father's wealth, he never asked himself WHAT IF things change? WHAT IF my parents(source of income) die(cease)? WHAT IF this money did not last forever? WHAT IF this money finishes now, what will become of me? WHAT IF this/that...?
Conclusion:
This young man thought he was enjoying himself, not knowing that he was busy eating his future. Now the extravagance of yesterday is telling on his survival today. Which is very bad!
