Here's My Take:
Intro:
There's this Igbo adage/phrase that's used to refer to how life treats everyone in general. It's written as "Ndi n'ochi Ndi n'akwa". Meaning some are laughing(happy, glad, enjoying, celebrating, etc) while some are crying(weeping, regretting, sorrowing, sad, etc). This is life for you.
There are families that have not witnessed deaths; both maternal and paternal grandparents are still alive and active. Also Parents, children and grandchildren are alive and active. While there are some, late(death) has become part of the family name. Does it mean that life hates some and like some?! Not at all!
Life is rotational, and death is also rotational. When the sun is rising in Nigeria, that's when it is setting in some countries like Japan, etc. That's how life is, when some are on the payroll of death, some will be on that of life, and vice versa. All we pray is that death should be shifted till old age. Amen.
Conclusion:
WHAT IF makes us not to panic when things didn't happen as planned/thought. For instance, you expected someone around you to live a very old age life, but death knocked before time. You have to accept your fate, while believing God for a change.
