What I'm about to say now may contradict what you believe, but I'm not saying it as one who is learned/knowledgeable, but as one who's observant.

I have no issues with going for every marriage seminar or reading every marriage books, not at all. I just want you to know that what works for Mr Kennedy may not work for Mr Gbenga, and what works for Mrs Aisha may not work Mrs Alisha. Just know what's best for you.

You can read and attend seminars to acquire knowledge, but know that not everything is applicable in your case. Just study the one you're living(want to live) with, to know what's best for him/her and you. So many singles(married people) today are dragging between personal knowledge and what they were told.

Do you know why our Fathers had a better and long lasting marriages? They never compared their marriages and they never tried what they heard, but what's best for them. And they never brought too much external knowledge/idea/suggestion to their marriages.
