Here's My Take:
Spiritual Long-sightedness is the ability of a personal/s to turn blind eye towards things/problems around him/her. But have a kin interest in other people's matter. Spiritual Long-sightedness could be seen as the ability of one to act as being in charge of his surrounding; but yet doesn't have control over it.
Just like we said yesterday, about one of my teachers in college, that always discipline others but fail to tackle hers at home, you'll find out that most disciplinarians have this issue.
They're too quick to implement measures on other people's children, when they err. But when its from their end, they'll play along. Anybody you know with such attitude, as listed above is Long-sightedness
Conclusion:
In a race, nobody runs leaving his/her shadows behind. Think about.
