Topic: FRIEND/FRIENDSHIP
Word: Exodus 18:21 NIV
But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.
Here's My Take:
What can end friendships:
13. Dishonest:
Being honest has nothing to do with being a Christian or not, yet it's one of the most important attributes of a Child of God. I have seen lots of Muslims that are very honest; their words are their bonds. While I have seen unrepentant unperturbed dishonest Persons that said they're Christians. I believe so much that life is all about how you want to live it and what you want to achieve at the end.
Don't attach yourself with someone that is dishonest, simply because you belong to the same religion, from the same tribe, or state, or any reason whatsoever.
That was why we stated earlier that ones friendship should not be restricted to tribes, religion, etc. It's a matter of what you want, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use your head.
Dishonest persons are more dangerous than viper, you can never hold them accountable. Their truth are lies and their lies are lies as well; when they tell you that they're lying, they're also lying.
Conclusion:
Far be it from me, that I'll live with a dishonest person all my life. I don't think I can take it. Having them around is putting yourself at risk.
Song:
You speak from heaven
We call it thunder
You are amazing
You smile from heaven
We call it rainbow
You are amazing
You look from heaven
We call it sunshine
That’s amazing
And you made me
In your likeness
Super amazing
You are amazing God
You are amazing
You’re amazing God
You amaze me!
Prayer:
Father keep me far away from dishonest men. Amen.
