GOODBYE(How To Know That You've Been Told Goodbye:)

Topic: GOOD BYE

Word: 2 Corinthians 10:12 NIV

We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.

Here's My Take:

How to know that you've been told Goodbye.

5. When there's comparison:

I observed that majority doesn't understand the difference between illustration(suggestion) and comparison. Not in writing or in their explanations, but in application.

Comparison is only done when you don't like a thing and you want a replacement. Or when you have an option.

Or when you're in_between choices.

But the truth is, it takes one who places value on a thing(relationship, friendship, etc) to remain patriotic about it, irrespective of what comes out of it. And what will make the person place value on that may be what the person has benefited from that. A man got married to his wife immediately she finished secondary School. Later he sent her to University to finish up. The lady said that she nearly left her man for her school mates, but because she remembered how he had sacrificed alot for her. She stayed back.

She compared her man with the younger bloods and wanted to quit her marriage. She never considered her kids, her years in marriage! Thank God she remembered the Sacrifices(what she has benefited) and she stayed back. Not only ladies that are in this shoe. I know of a man that such happened to, but he remembered how much the wife has sacrificed for him and contribute in making him what he was. He never considered his kids or marriage getting shattered, but sacrifice called his attention back.

Conclusion:

Any relationship/friendship where there's no sacrifice is bound to crash. When the sacrifice is not mutual it will bend one side and later fail.

Song:

E don tey wey you dey cry

My brother, my sister

5 o’clock in the morning

And here you are all alone

Brother you’ve been so worried

you don’t know what to do, oh lord

But I know someone who can help you if only you believe, oh yeah

Sun will shine in the morning

And darkness will go away, oh yeah

So Ada, don’t cry, don’t cry

Ugochukwu, Jehovah emewo ya, Chineke emewo ya

Prayer:

Father make me the Best of my kind and help me to appreciate anyone around me. Amen.
