And war broke out in heaven, Michael [the archangel] and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought, but they were not strong enough and did not prevail, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.

Here's My Take: 

Why do people say goodbye?

1. For their own safety: 

From yesterday's post, I want to say this, one can not be brutalized by fists only?

There are many ways one can be brutalized. Through mouth:

when what we'd said gave someone heart attach or pushed him to the wall, without us being sorry. Judas brutalized his Master(Jesus) using just a kiss

Through attitude:

when our attitude has driven people away from God's Kingdom; attitude that have made people prefer going to hell than being our own version of Christians.

Through emotions: when we have become expert in breaking people's hearts through empty promises. Promising what we cannot keep.

Through pen: when our pen/Biro has become our god. We lie using it. We fraud using it. We condemn people using it. We steal using it.

Through ideas:

when our ideas and opinions are hurting. When our ideas are not for the best interest and benefit of the people. But for our selfish interest. King David selfishly went and count the people of Israel, and God wiped many away. Even when he was told not to do that, he insisted.

Conclusion:

Many wicked activities today are the very means by which people are brutalized. Let's check ourselves very well!
