And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

Zechariah 3:1‭, ‬3‭-‬4 KJV

Friends, do you know that many reasons why our prayers are not answered, is not because we didn't pray very well and it's not that we prayed amiss? It's because Satan had upper hand on us. How?

Filthy garments!

When we pray, Spiritually a filthy garment/s is/are standing before us. It could be garment of lies, gossip, hatred, malice, criticisms, anger, wickedness, etc. Satan hold unto them as his evidence of resistance against us. Knowing that God is a God of principle and justice, he'll hold unto those garments.

But the good news is we have an advocate, whose veto power always liberate us from Satan's accusations and resistances. 

He spoke unto those that stood before us, saying, take away the filthy garments from them. And unto us he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
